Aussie Curves – Time Saver

I almost wasn’t going to do this week’s Aussie Curves theme, but then I thought, why the hell not.

So I’m doing something a bit different. Firstly, I’m currently in Auckland, so I don’t even have access to my wardrobe.

However, I then started thinking, what better time to do a time saver outfit when I am on holiday?

I’ve always subscribed to packing the clothes you trust and wear most often when I go away. Mostly because you know they are not going to cause you any problems while away from home.

The clothes I packed for my days in Auckland also happen to be some of the clothes I go to for when I don’t have to think about an outfit. They save me time and effort.

Photos this week are also a bit different – I haven’t really been able to snap decent outfit photos, apart from a few selfies in the hotel mirror, which is actually fairly decent.

I love this tiger top. So much that I have managed to now own four tops that are similar. Which is what this post is all about – the tops that save me time. They are made up of two different materials. The front is a patterned, silk-like material, while the back is black and stretchy. I usually pair them with jeans, my black blazer and a pair of flats. Done.

Leopards.

Unicorns.

Carousel horse.

All tops and jeans are from City Chic.

What do you wear when you head away on holiday?

  1. I love the unicorn top you wore yesterday, so cute! Totally agree about packing what you know – when I came to Wellington last, I bought a lot of unfamiliar pieces with me and almost had a meltdown over how I was styling them. Lesson learned! xo

    • Thanks! The unicorn top was one of those must haves at first sight. Packing what you know is definitely one of the best pieces of advice I got from my mum.

    • Thanks! I love my tops. I have spent so much money on buying tops in the last year. Oh my god.
