Inconsequentialness is inconsequential.

Writer’s block?

Yip.

Um…

I didn’t do anything of consequence yesterday (read: today). It seems to be a growing trend, yeah?

I did end up going around to Benny Boo Boo Bear’s Purple Pimp Pad to watch some movies. Due Date and The Hangover.

Due Date is so completely random. Almost to the point of why was this movie even made? However, it was still quite hilarious.

The Hangover – finally watched it! Had never seen it before and I laughed pretty much the entire time!

SO FUNNY.

And he shared his Peanut Butter M&M’s that @LittleIchiban bought him in the US of A.

NOM NOM NOM.

I did get an awesome phone call from my man piece (I think this is the appropriate description, however the vote is still on. If you wish to vote, tweet me or comment below. The options are now Boyfriend, Man Piece, Man Bitch and Meat Puppet.)

I also called my t’other Friend Hayreeeeeee. She is moving to Darwin this week so it was a bit of a catch up call and a have fun, see you around type call. I will miss her in the the whole, she’s no longer in the same country, miss her.

But the plan is to go visit! Apparently Darwin is pretty cool.

Um… yeah. We might just leave it here for now.

I did do one time job application! #progress

Only excitement was food…

Today I woke up after a ridiculously awesome sleep. I was so comfortable that I did not want to get out of bed. But the need for sustenance forced me to.

COCOA POPS FTW.

I literally did nothing today.

ACTUAL.

Today was more of a recuperation after Wellington. The hills killed me. My legs are so sore and I am still exhausted.

I’m pretty sure I watched Dr Phil, Oprah, Frasier, then showered then did some other stuff. Did not even leave the house. What a fantastic life of the unemployed I lead.

I was even so lazy enough to order Hells and get it delivered. Maybe it wasn’t laziness, just not wanting to leave the house. And the delivery boy was extremely hawt. But he probably judged me for the amount of food I bought. Definitely enough for three meals.

COLD PIZZA FOR BREAKFAST, BITCHES.

Cold pizza for breakfast, is like, totes, the best thing ever.

I didn’t even get to do any job applications today. The night has just passed in a blur and I didn’t even realise. Awkward. So tomorrow, I have quite a few to do.

I was quite enthralled by The Pursuit of Happyness. Had never seen the movie before, so I was kind of excited that it was on. I was not disappointed. It was awesome.

Right now I am yawning my head off, so I think it is time to sign off and catch some z’s.

Lisa out.

Chewy is unhappy.

I’m getting so lazy with these blog posts. I no longer seem to be doing one a day, like I set out to do, but in trying to catch up, doing two a day. So once again, yesterday is today.

Woke up to a dreary Wellington day and realised I had to drive back to Hastings. That was the last thing I wanted to do.

If that wasn’t bad enough, by the time I got to Shannon I was so tired I had to pull over and close my eyes for a few minutes. Do the sensible thing, yanno?

Turns out I shouldn’t have. Turned into a two hour delay. *sigh*

I closed my eyes for 20 minutes and when I go to start my car again, it won’t go!

OH NOES.

Just wouldn’t turn over. Called Father to let him know what was up and then called the AA. Which then turned into a wait for the AA man to turn up in Shannon.

He eventually turned up and jump started my car for me. Turns out it was the battery. Stupid car. That’s just one of many problems it has. If it carries on how it’s going Chewy will be getting replaced. Yes, my car is called Chewy. After Chewbacca because when I break it makes a sound like Chewy speaking.

I know this doesn’t sound good, but it’s been like that the since I’ve had the car.

But I got back to Hastings.

HALF-HEARTED YAY!

Exahusted and sore, I crashed.

A rather uneventful day, not much happened. Just another day in the life of an unemployed journalist.

Epic is epic.

Today was another ridiculously hot uncomfortable day.

BLERG.

So, naturally, I decided to go shopping!

What a horrible idea. It was TOO hot. But I did get to spend some money. I swear, it was all necessity. Honest.

Things like singlets and leggings and underwear and bras. Things I haven’t been able to buy for ages, but in desperate need of buying.

I also did a LEETLE bit of naughty shopping – shopping I shouldn’t have done.

WHOOPS.

A diary from Smiggle. It’s rather awesome and before you say anything, yes, Napier has a Smiggle. We’re not that backwards down here.

Ok, that was kind of a necessity. I really did need a diary so I stop using my notebook for non-journalism related stuff, like writing lists of things I need to do each day. That can now go in my diary.

Diaries are totally awesome.

I also bought a pair of heels.

AWKWARD FACE.

I really don’t need anymore pairs of heels. I’m becoming addicted. I should do a count of how many I have now. You will all be :O. Also, I’m becoming more like Sister (SORRY SISTER, BUT IT’S TRUE)

They are cute shoes. Little boots with heels and a gold zip up the side and peep toe. Also cheap! Only $20 from Number One Shoes. They are teh awesome.

And some rings from Diva. I’m going through a ring phase at the moment, but I don’t really have any and Diva has good rings. One is a locket ring, I thought that was pretty rad. Another has what I can only describe as something like a disco ball on and the third is black with sparkly bits on.

When I got home, I crashed. Two nights with basically no sleep makes Lisa very tired.

ENTER THREE HOUR EPIC NAP.

I felt so much better after that. Unfortunately, in my post-nap mood I did not want to do any job applications. This means I need to do three tomorrow and as I’m not planning on doing much, this should be able to be done.

That is all.

Dud among brilliance.

Today has being ridiculously uncomfortable with the heat and the humidity, with no relief in sight.

It has been blur of a day. Just all hazy.

I had a chiropractor appointment. Ah sweet relief. Back feels so much better.

I then finally got my Christmas present from my parents and grandparents – a GHD hair straightener.

TOTAL FUCKING WIN.

Then when I got home from town, my grandparents were actually here, so hung out with them a bit. Then went for a swim.

There was so much crap on top of the pool from the tree, I must have spent about 20 minutes just clearing that off. Made me even hotter and the pool even sweeter when I finally got in.

It was an awesome swim. Ah sweet relief.

The rest of the day was spent being a bum on the internet. I have semi-done another job application. I just have to print something off, fill it in then scan it so I can email it with my application.

The aim is to do at least one a day. I technically haven’t done that today, so tomorrow I really have to finish that one and do the next.

This is a really boring, inconsequential post, but you’ve got it, because I’m still going strong with my one post a day. There is always bound to be a dud among the brilliance.

(This is the dud.)
