Aussie Curves – Tee

This week’s Aussie Curves challenge is Tee.

I love t-shirts. I pretty much wear jeans and a tee (or just a nice top) everyday, it is the most comfortable thing for me to wear and my work is quite casual, so I don’t have to wear business-y type clothes often.

I got this t-shirt from ASOS in my recent order and I absolutely love it. The shoulder embellishments are just plastic gems sewed on and they sparkle a lot.

Sometimes they dig into my shoulder, especially when I have my bag on my shoulder, so I have to be quite careful not to rip them off. I hope none of them fall off, but I should be able to easily stitch them back on if they do.

Also I had my hair cut last weekend and it feels so much better now. Much lighter and thinner. I just got the hairdresser to thin it out with those razor scissors – I love them.

I really do love this tee, I’m so glad I bought it. I think it is going to be one of my favourites of the summer.

Tee: ASOS Curve
Jeans: City Chic
Cuff: This is the same one from last week that I took off a pair of shoes from Target. (I’m still trying to wear said shoes in so they don’t cause blisters, so haven’t worn them yet.)

My debit card slipped, honest.

I *may* have made another ASOS order.

Whoops.

The clothes are so cheap! Don’t judge me.

Here is what I eagerly await: (Which reminds me, I should really do a follow up blog on my first order! Another day…)

T-Shirt Dress in Skull Print:

T-Shirt with Jewel Shoulder:

And lastly, this Cat Face Ring, OMIGOD:

I made a few adjustments to sizing this time around, as I found the two t-shirts I bought in my first order were a bit too big and when worn actually super baggy.

Hopefully this lot turns up next week! (Along with the purchase I made from City Chic with the 20% off storewide.)

Aussie Curves – LBD

A lot of fashion blogs I follow tend to be plus size fashion blogs, because obviously.

So when reading a fair few of them, I see them posting about Aussie Curves, which is a weekly blogging challenge developed by Danimezza, where plus size bloggers blog about the weekly outfit theme.

I have decided to start doing a few of the Aussie Curves blogs myself. Now I may not do every week, because some weeks are just too hectic for me, but I’m definitely going to try!

This week’s theme is LBD and what a perfect week to start with when I have just bought a great little black dress in my first ever ASOS order.

Behold the skull edged skater dress:

Yes, I am wearing jandals. Don’t judge me. Sydney has turned up the heat quite suddenly, so out come the jandals. Plus, I was just going for a short wander (read: shopping) around the city.

I let my hair dry naturally today and just left it out. I actually really need a haircut, cause it’s gotten a bit unmanageable again. I paired the dress with my new Deathly Hallows symbol necklace. I left my make-up basic today – just some bb cream and a bit of mineral powder.

Close-up of the skull/floral pattern. One of the retail assistants at Westfield Sydney complemented me on the dress – solidifying my decision to actually keep it.

Side-shot to show my leggings. I really need to work on my modeling. Also need to find a better place to take photos.

Dress: ASOS Curve
Leggings: City Chic
Shoes: Havaianas (I got this pair from the Sydney Topshop store)

Now to figure out how to add this to the blog hop…
