My first ASOS order.

I did it. I finally did it. I have placed my first ASOS order.

I have been so dubious about the whole thing that I have never fully committed.

There have been so many items of clothing I have liked over the past few months, but I could never bring myself to buy them because of not being able to try them on before parting with my hard-earned dosh.

I would see so many things I would love to own, they would be reasonably priced and I would ignore them. Just because I didn’t want to have the hassle of getting them, them not fitting and having to return them.

Then I would return several months later and see the same items at a reduced rate! And still I would not buy.

But after agonising over it for several days and doing a lot of research into sizing where I compared measurements with City Chic (because I know my size there), I finally succumbed and splurged a little.

I just hope everything is the right size and I don’t have to return anything. Because I really, really don’t want to. Because I love them all.

Below is what I am anxiously awaiting to arrive.

Teal lace dress with off the shoulder:

Skater dress in skull boarder print:

Smart duckling tee:

In diamonds we trust tee:

Leggings in denim look. (Yes, jeggings. I’m so ashamed to admit it myself, please don’t judge me. I swear I will not wear them as pants. I reckon they will look great with the skull dress. NO PANTS, I promise. Please don’t judge me.)

So that’s my first order. If all goes well, it probably won’t be my last. I’ll keep you posted.

  1. I have the ducking t-shirt and it is totally adorable, but the neck is a tiny bit tighter than I’d prefer. I hope you fall in love with them! And I won’t judge you even if you wear your jeggings as pants. Leggings as pants for everyone!

Their dresses are the hardest things to get right for me, but I’ve learned what works for my body. Their returns are great, you get your money back with no questions asked and just have to pay a few bucks postage. I hope you fall in love with them!

    • For the price I paid for the tees, I’m not above cutting the neck to make it more comfortable. Package arrived today – will try them on soon. Here’s hoping everything fits! Then a blog will hopefully follow this weekend.
