Regardless of the Buffy quote, I do actually have a theory. But this theory is for Doctor Who.

I love making theories for TV programmes, it’s always fun to see if you’re right.

Anyway, my theory.

DISCLAIMER: If you have not seen the first two episodes of season six of Doctor Who and do not want to know what happens, then stop reading now.

Over the last few weeks I have been watching Doctor Who. From the beginning of the new reincarnation, not the 1960s versions, starting with Chris Eccleston. I’m up to season five with Matt Smith.

We find out in one of the early episodes of season five with the stone angels that River Song is in prison for killing a man. She says it is for killing the best man she knows.

In the first episode where we meet River Song with David Tennant in season four, if I remember correctly, she says The Doctor is the best man she has ever known.

With season six, in the first episode we see The Doctor die. Killed by a girl in a space suit.

Dun dun dun! See where I’m going with this?

So my theory is, that River Song did in fact kill The Doctor, but she is also that little girl. And that little girl, we’re assuming is Amy’s daughter!

How incredibly complicated will that be!

I just have to say, this is a great theory. It will be interesting to know if I am right.
